ROBO-HI Japan has officially launched EYECAN®, an AR-based indoor navigation service designed for commercial facilities, office buildings, railway stations, hospitals, factories, and other complex indoor environments where GPS signals are unavailable.

No beacons, Wi-Fi positioning devices, or additional hardware are required. Deployment is possible using only smartphones, significantly reducing both initial investment and maintenance costs.
EYECAN applies autonomous driving logic—originally developed for robotics—to human movement.
By simply following AR instructions overlaid onto the real-world environment, users can reach their destination with robotic precision. This “entertainment-driven mobility” enhances engagement while improving facility circulation and reducing staff workload.
Powered by Visual Positioning System (VPS) technology, EYECAN matches live camera images with 3D map data to achieve positioning accuracy within 1–3 meters, even in GPS-denied environments.
Accurate floor detection enables seamless vertical navigation via elevators and escalators—an area where conventional navigation apps often struggle.
