Privacy Policy

Handling of personal information in our business activities

ROBO-HI Vietnam Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter "the Company") handle personal information arising from our business activities in accordance with the policy set out below.

1. Compliance with laws and regulations

  1. 1. The Company handles personal information in compliance with Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection, the Law on Cyberinformation Security and other relevant Vietnamese legislation.
  2. 2. As a member of ROBO-HI Japan, the Company also follows the group-wide policy, which is built on Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the guidelines issued by the competent authorities.

2. Management of personal information

  1. 1. The Company manages its customers' personal information appropriately and securely.
  2. 2. The Company does not disclose, lend or transfer customers' personal information to third parties without the customer's consent. This does not apply where personal data protection legislation permits otherwise.

3. Purpose of use

  1. 1. The Company uses the personal information it has collected only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes stated in the consent form, terms of service or collection notice the customer agreed to when using the Company's products and services — including consent given electronically, such as by tapping an agree button in an application or on a website (together, the "consent form"). This does not apply where personal data protection legislation permits otherwise.
  2. 2. In order to achieve the purposes set out in paragraph 1, the Company may provide the personal information it has collected to the third parties named in the consent form, or use it jointly within the scope stated therein. Customers are asked to note this in advance.

4. Safety measures for personal information

  1. 1. The Company establishes internal rules for the protection of customers' personal information and operates them properly.
  2. 2. The Company is thorough in its protection of personal information.
  3. 3. The Company maintains its internal management structure, works to train employees and raise their awareness of personal information protection, and supervises employees as necessary and appropriate so that personal information is kept secure.
  4. 4. Where the Company entrusts the handling of customers' personal information to a third party and provides that personal information, it selects an appropriate contractor and gives that contractor appropriate operational instruction and supervision so that personal information is kept secure.

5. Correction of personal information

  1. 1. Where a customer requests disclosure, correction or deletion of their own personal information, the Company responds promptly.
  2. 2. For any enquiry or request concerning your personal information, please contact the point of contact given at the end of this page.

6. Deletion and disposal of personal information

  1. 1. Once the purposes stated in the consent form have been achieved, the Company promptly deletes or disposes of the personal information collected from the customer.
  2. 2. Where personal information collected from a customer has been provided to a third party engaged by the Company, and the Company's purpose has been achieved, the Company instructs that third party to delete or dispose of it promptly and takes responsibility for ensuring that this is done.

7. Revisions to this policy

The Company may revise this policy on the handling of personal information in its business activities, in whole or in part. Where a significant change is made, the Company will announce it on this website in a readily understandable manner.
