Overview

In the restricted area of Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport), we have started implementing Japan's first level 4 autonomous cargo transport using an automated tractor developed by ROBO-HI.

Features

A fully autonomous driving system that does not require road surface construction named "IZAC". By collaborating with "ROBO-HI AOS" and the airport's camera system, we have built a platform that allows a remote operator to safely manage and integrate up to 10 vehicles.

Common Issues

With the rapid recovery in aviation demand, labor shortages at airports are becoming a severe global issue. In particular, "ground handling" tasks such as towing cargo containers and cleaning in expansive terminals are highly labor-intensive. Therefore, fundamentally reducing the physical burden on staff and improving operational efficiency is an urgent task.

ROBO-HI Solution

The deployment of "RoboCar Tractor 25T" equipped with autonomous driving technology will realize automated and unmanned outdoor cargo container towing. Furthermore, including cleaning robots in the terminal, we will manage multiple units integrally through "ROBO-HI AOS" to optimize operations across a wide area.
